Anthony (Tyrannosaurus Rex) DeRosa grew up listening to crappy music, until he found his dad's old music collection from when he was a kid. Anthony started listening to bands such as The Clash, Murphy's Law, and Green Day, just to name a few. He started playing music when he picked up the guitar for the first time at a very young age. After a couple of lessons, he decided the guitar wasn't for him. Then one day, Anthony saw Green Day live in concert with Blink 182, and thought that Travis Barker was the coolest person in the world. It was then that he decided he wanted to play the drums just like Travis. Anthony joined his school band where he played the marching snare. He got his first drum set when he was 11 years old. He played in a few grunge bands, including a Nirvana cover band, because Dave Grohl rules. He spent a lot of his time going to a variety of punk shows, and realized how much he loved both music and the drums. A few years later, Anthony decided to invest in a nicer drum kit to replace the $100 piece of crap that he had been playing. He bought his Artstar on eBay, and is still beating it up today. 

    During Anthony's senior year of high school, Doug approached him asking if he wanted to record some drum tracks for a hip hop group. After he recorded the song, Doug listened to it and realized that Anthony was in fact the best drummer ever, and just had to have him as a permanent part of the band. Anthony's first reaction was, "What the HELL do I want to do with a hip hop band?!" but agreed to give it a shot. After a few practices, he realized it was a lot of fun and decided to join.

    Being much younger than the rest of the group, playing shows with them clearly made him by far the coolest kid in high school and everyone wanted to be his friend.

    Anthony loves Cloud 9, and everything that comes along with the lifestyle, with the exception of guitarist Steve Baccello. "I'm gonna kill you Steve."

    Also, next time you're at a show, buy the kid a beer.
